Devin's grandpa lives in San Angelo which is like 3 hours south from Lubbock. We went to visit him for the first time ever and found roosters in the backyard. It was pretty messed up, both the yard and the fact that there were roosters back there but here are some pictures from our little trip.

This is a picture of the ugliest rooster I've ever seen. Words cannot describe the ugly-ness of this thing. There were about 40 roosters back here and this was by far the ugliest.... hands down!

Did you know that roosters beat eachother up?! You don't even have to train them to cock-fight, they just do it on their own. They all have these long, sharp thorn things sticking out backwards like in the middle of their forearm (?) and that's how they fight with eachother. When a rooster kills another rooster, it just sits there and rots. Nice huh?

It's great that you got to visit family and all, but when are you going to visit Houston? It's only like a 10-hour drive. That's nothing! And for more incentive than just Larkin, me, and the twins - we have a spare bedroom for you guys (with no bed, yet) and a closet devoted specifically to board games. Just think about it. . .
Ummmm...eww. and secondly, there is a house two doors down from us that has chickens and a rooster that wakes me up every morning at 6:33 am. i wish I had a rooster that I could take over there to kill it...
